- Assist in experimental design plans and troubleshooting set-ups
- Assist in mapping specific sound fields in several pools to ensure proper sound production in all tested frequencies
- Train Charlie (Enhydra lutris) on “go/no-go” procedure for psychoacoustic experiments
- Assist in data collection, processing, and analysis
- Become proficient at handling sensitive acoustic equipment
- Daily set up and break-down of several psychoacoustic experiments
- Daily care of animals including diet preparation, animal husbandry, maintaining daily training and diet log using FileMaker pro and Excel computer programs
